Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, January 21st at Morehart Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Charles West officiating. Interment will follow in the Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.
Mattie Lou “Rena” Kemper was born March 18, 1923 in Knott, Texas to parents Roy Kemper and Ova Randolph Kemper.
On October 12, 1946, Rena married Dale Aldridge in Lamesa, Texas. Rena and her family moved and made their home in Breckenridge in 1967. She was a member of First Baptist Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Aldridge; her parents, Roy and Ova Kemper; four brothers and one sister.
Rena is survived by her children, Rick Aldridge and wife Nicki of Breckenridge, Renita Brownlee and husband Norm of Odessa; two grandchildren, Shelby Gray of Odessa, Coby Aldridge and wife Jill of Mansfield; one loving sister-in-law, Betty Kemper; two sisters; one great grandchild, Lela Aldridge; and numerous nieces and nephews.
