David Killen, formerly of St. Joseph, passed away peacefully after an extended illness in Kansas City, Missouri on January 18th, 2015. He was 61. David was born on February 21, 1953 in St. Joseph, Missouri to the late Robert and Dorothy (Tenyer) Killen. David is survived by Rita Killen, his son Andrew (Katie) Killen, sister Chris (Dan) Danford. Mass of Christian Burial 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Horigan Chapel located within Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 26th & Lover's Lane, St. Joseph, Missouri 64506. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon Wednesday at Horigan Chapel, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
