Services for Emma Ann Meadows Flatt, 93, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at Anderson – Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, Tennessee.
Interment will follow in the Richmond Cemetery in Jackson County, Tennessee.
The family will receive friends on Monday at Hendersonville Memory Gardens and Funeral Home, and at Anderson – Upper Cumberland Funeral Home on Wednesday.
She passed away on Friday, July 22, 2011 in Madison, Tennessee.
She was born on July 5, 1918, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late
Johnnie Wesley Meadows and Lillie Jane Gipson Meadows.
On May 10, 1943, she was married to her beloved Garner C. Flatt, who passed away October 9, 2001.
She was a homemaker, and a member of the Hendersonville Church of Christ.
She was also a member of the One Heart Group at Christian Manor, Hendersonville, Tennessee.
She was also preceded in death by 1 Sister - Bertha Meadows Haile; and
1 Brother - Dewey Meadows.
Survivors include 2 Daughters - Peggy Ann and Ralph E. Morgan, and
Barbara Jean and Thomas L. Weilbacher; 1 Grandson - Jonathan Edward Morgan;
1 Brother - Grover and Lucille Meadows;
She is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law.
