David R. Rich lived in Luther and was raised by his grandmother after his mother died during childbirth. Despite having severe Cerebral Palsy. He was genius like Stephen Hawkins. He even lived in his own apartment. David also taught me how to use a computer before there was such a thing as the internet. Sadly he passed away just as the internet was becoming available. I miss my friend but when I think of him it is with love, happiness and joy, not sadness.

For my best friend in the world...

Do Not Go Gentle into That Good Night – By Dylan Thomas
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there, I did not die.
