Mrs. Mollie Arnett Kenan died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.M. Baldwin. She lived in Seymour for many years. She moved to Texas with her parents from Clinton, Missouri during the Civil War settling in Whitesboro. It was here that she grew to young womanhood and married Thomas J. Kenan on 21 May. She was a member of the old Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Whitesboro and was an active member of the Presbyterian church her entire life. Survivors include her daughter; two grandchildren; two brothers; and one sister. She lived a beautiful Christian life, responding to every worthy call of her church, always faithful in attendance and worship.
