A double wedding was solemnized at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning at 156 West North street (sic), Carlisle, by Rev. Ira F. Brame. The happy couples were Mr John A. Wolf & Miss Mary Gillough, both of Frankford township, and Mr Charles Chronister and Miss Maggie Riggleman, both of Entersville, this county.

Charles K. Chronister, RD3, Newville, died yesterday afternoon at his home. He was 79 years old.

Mr. Chronister was the son or the late Calvin and Maria Thumma Chronister and was a member of the McClure's Gap Sunday School.

He is survived by a daughter and two sons, Mrs. Maria Warner and Roy W. Chronister, both of RD3, Newville, and Floyd O. Chronister, RD4; a brother, John Chronister, RD3, Newville, nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock in the Shulenberger and Roth Funeral Home, 169 West High Street. Rev. A. E. Siple will official. Burial will be in McClure's Gap Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday night at the funeral home.
