Mrs. Bertha F. Richcreek

Mrs. Bertha F. Richcreek, 78, of RD2 North Middleton, Twp., died this morning at the Carlisle Hospital.

Mrs. Richcreek was born in Cumberland County, Feb. 2, 1895 the daughter of the late William and Anna Finkenbinder Riggleman and was the widow of David H. Richcreek.

She attended the Holiness Christian Church and was a member of the Golden Age Club.

Surviving are four sons Charles W., RD3 Newville; James A., 158 D St., Sylvan J., 457 N. Pitt St. and Eugene L., RD3 Newville; five daughters, Mrs. Ethel Bitner, with whom she lived, Mrs. Doris A. Bitner, RD4 Carlisle, Mrs. Mary Ellen Reed, Allen, Mrs. Shirley M. Dunbar, 1075 Rebecca St. and Mrs. Margaret Sheriff, 1921 Fry Ave.; 25 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Hoffman Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St. with the Rev. Albert E. Kehler officiating. Burial will be in McClure's Gap Church of God Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
