Norma was the daughter of Joe and Geraldine Clary. She married Billy Wade Ausmus in 1959 and they had four children: Jeff, Kyle, Kim and Jerri.

AUSMUS RITES SET FRIDAY
Norma Lou Clardy Ausmus, 61, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2002, at Idabel. She was born May 2, 1940, at Idabel to Joe and Geraldine Clardy.
A 1958 graduate of Idabel Gray High School, she and Bill Ausmus married Aug. 22, 1959. They made their home in Tulsa, returning to Idabel in 1985. She and Bill worked together for the Forest Grove Water District.
Norma enjoyed life, her family, and was a very loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the Bypass Church of Christ, Idabel.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Geradine Clardy.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Ausmus, Forest Hill Community; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jeff and Kendra Ausmus, Forest Grove Community; two daughters and son-in-law, Kim and Wesley Nichols, Springfield, Mo., and Jerri Thomas, also of Springfield; her father, Joe Clardy, Forest Grove Community; a brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Sandy Clardy, Forest Grove Community; and seven grandchildren.
The family of Norma Ausmus will receive relatives and friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, March 7, at Jim Norwood Funeral Home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 8, at Bypass Church of Christ. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Idabel.
