Mrs. Cornelia Chaney, beloved wife of Mr. David Chaney, died at her home in Westernport, Jan’y 10, 1899 of consumption, aged 39 years. She had been sick since the first of last May. She was born in Allegany county. She was married to Mr. Chaney at Romney, this state, Oct. 21, 1879. Six children, ranging in age from 19 months to 18 years survive. She was a member of the Southern M. E. church. Rev. W. H. Ballengee conducted the services. The remains were taken to Rawlings, Md. for interment.
