John Walker Adams, aged 64, was born on January 25, 1943 in Elgin, Illinois, a son of George H. Adams and Jane Walker Adams. John died in his sleep on Friday, June 1, 2007, at his North Yarmouth, Maine home.
Survivors include son, Hakan Adams of Santa Fe, N.M.; sister, Susan Banks, of Old Town, Idaho; and brother, Scot Adams, of Kennewick, Wash. Also surviving are nieces, Bryna Banks, of Spokane, Wash. and Patrick Adams of Lincoln, Neb.
John attended Glenbard West High School in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, in the class of 1961, where he was on the football and track teams. He finished high school in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He completed his Eagle Scout requirements in 1960. He graduated from the College of Idaho in Caldwell, Idaho.
