Marie Shramko

Marie Shramko, 89, formerly of New Paris, Ohio, died Wednesday, April 26, 2006, at Cambridge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cambridge, Ohio.

Born July 26, 1916, in Perryopolis, Pa., she was the daughter of Bernard and Margaret (Valari) Lamango.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Shramko, in 1975; sisters, Margaret Lomango in 1984, Norma Jackson in 1995 and Idea Gohoski in 1997; and brother, Tony Lomango in 1995.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, John and Katherine Shramko of Coco, Fla., and Bernard and Janet Shramko of Yorktown, N.Y.; daughter, Sally S. Golden of New Paris; sisters, Lena Anderson of Stockton, Calif., Kay Kaminski of North Huntingdon, Pa., and Nancy Fairbanks of New York; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family, with burial in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pittsburgh, Pa. Barnes Funeral Home, New Paris, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
