Joyce Lynn Kelly of Dover has gone to be with her soul mate and husband the late Jerry D. Kelly on Wednesday January 8, 2014 at Kent General Hospital. She was 60.
Mrs. Kelly was born July 15, 1953 in Baltimore, Maryland to Ed Louis Kopp, Sr. and Bettie Sanford Kopp.
She had worked at the commissary at Dover Air Force Base from 1980 to 1996, as a meat room stocker. Mrs. Kelly had also worked for both the Camden and Dover Walmart as a cashier in the Garden Department. She loved, nut crackers, lighthouses and the Twilight Saga.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jerry D. Kelly, 2008.
She is survived by her mother, Bettie Kopp of Belair, MD; brothers, Edward Kopp, Jr. and his wife Annelle of Dover, Chuck Kopp of Belair, MD; sister, Denise Bentzen and her husband Danny of Baltimore, MD; daughters, Stephanie Marville of Dover, Jennifer Bailey and her husband Keith of Pennsboro, W. VA, Kelly Seth and her husband John of Dover and Hope Arnold of Preston, MD; grandchildren, Seth, Brandon, John John, Kimberly, Katelynn, Breeanna, Christopher and Lisa; nephew and niece that she helped raise, Eddie Kopp, III and Amanda Jacobs; and numerous, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held 11AM, Monday, January 13, 2013 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 6-8 Sunday evening. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
