Born in Troy he is the son of Jane Pasinella Mamone and the late Joseph Mamone.
Paul is a graduate of Troy High School Class of 1982, shortly there after he joined the U.S. Navy and served for over 4 years.
Upon returning home he accepted a position with the Watervliet Arsenal where he was employed for many years.
Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Mamone, Paul L. WYNANTSKILL Paul L. Mamone, 50, of Wynantskill entered into eternal life on Monday, January 19, 2015, at Samaritan Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Troy, he is the son of Jane Pasinella Mamone and the late Joseph Mamone. Paul is a graduate of Troy High School, class of 1982; shortly thereafter he joined the U.S. Navy and served for over four years. Upon returning home, he accepted a position with the Watervliet Arsenal, where he was employed for many years. Survivors, in addition to his loving mother Jane, include his beloved children, Andrew and Christina Mamone; his siblings, Sal (Sandy) Mamone, John (Sue) Mamone, Albert Mamone, Anthony (Roseanna) Mamone, and Stephen (Annmarie) Mamone. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015, beginning at 8:45 a.m., from the Bocketti Funeral Home, 336 Third St., Troy, and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Family and friends are invited and may call on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m., at the funeral home. The family wishes to thank the staff at The Community Hospice of Rensselaer Co., and the 5th and 6th floors of St. Peter's Hospital for all their wonderful and compationate care given to Paul.
