WEISIGER, Addie Janet Holladay, 95, of Wytheville, formerly of Powhatan, died January 20, 2015. Daughter of William Henry and Janie Tobias Holladay, she was born May 5, 1919 in Clarendon County, S.C. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Weisiger; and her sisters and brothers, Sadie Johnson, Edna Hodge, Herbert, James, John, Kenneth and Lionel Holladay. She is survived by her children and their spouses, William Bolling (Donna) of Wytheville, James Kendall "Kenny" (Laurel), Barry Meade Weisiger, Wanda Weisiger Shue and Janet Weisiger Simpson (Bart Van Leuwen), all of Powhatan; sister, Dorothy "Dot" Begley of Florida; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday (tonight) in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy. (Rt.60), Powhatan. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Powhatan. Interment Old Grace Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Virginia, 600 West Ridge Rd., Wytheville, Va. 24382. Online condolences may be made at bennettbardenfh.com.
