He is also preceded in death by a son, Charles D. "Chuck" Crago; his second wife, Brenda M. (Virden) Crago;, and three sisters, Louise McCloud, Maxine Swain and Elzada Childers.
Sonny retired from Weirton Steel Corp. as an electrician, and was a member of the 25-Year Club.
Surviving are his firstwife, Iva Lee (Williams) Crago, Amsterdam, OH; three children, William Reid (Nova) Crago, Amsterdam, OH; Deana Rae (Stephen) Ritchie, New Cumberland, WV, Lee Ann (Terry) Mooney, New Cumberland, WV; two step daughters; five sisters, Donna Blake, Weirton, WV, Barbara Tingler, New Cumberland, WV, Linda (Ross) Dulaney, New Cumberland, WV, Roberta (Joseph) Kosut,Weirton, WV, Rita (Al) Schoolage Martins Ferry, OH; one brother, Edward Crago, New Cumberland, WV; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Turley Funeral Home on Friday, Jan. 23, 2015, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Craig Greathouse officiating.
