Eileen Lynch, 72 passed away peacefully on January 21, 2015 with family at her side at Community Hospital, Toms River NJ.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visit the Dooley Colonial Home, 556 Westfield Ave., Westfield on Friday from 4-8 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 am at Holy Trinity RC Church, Westfield.
Eileen was in born Jersey City, raised in Bogota and later lived in Convent Station (Morristown) before retiring to Waretown NJ.
She was a graduate of St Peter's College and had a longtime career within various insurers' accounting and finance areas, including North American (Swiss Re) and North Star (Gen Re). She retired 2008 from AEGON USA as vice president and treasurer. Eileen was a member of the Travel Club, Artisan Club and Gardenaires at Greenbrier Oceanaire in Waretown NJ
She was also a parishioner of St Pius X Church, Forked River NJ and loved to travel, read and especially spend time with family and friends.
She is survived by her siblings; Patrick J Lynch of Sea Girt, Thomas F Lynch (wife Kathleen) of Ramsey, Grace L Cooke (husband Art) of Westfield and John J Lynch (wife Karen) of Ramsey. She will also be deeply missed by her six nieces, two nephews and eight grand nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Covenant House or a charity of choice.
