Born Feb. 20, 1908, near Columbus, Mrs. Duncan was a daughter of Henry and Nella Horner Myers. She married Richard P. Duncan Dec. 5, 1936, in the home of her parents south of Fowler. He died Oct. 27, 1992.
Mrs. Duncan was a member of Ellington Memorial Presbyterian Church, Presbyterian Women and the Antique Club of Quincy and taught the Beacon Sunday School Class for many years. She graduated from Mendon Township High School and attended Illinois Wesleyhan College.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William (Kathleen) Gelhaar of Carthage; two grandchildren, Margaret Tucker of Carthage and Mrs. Greg (Mary) Tucker-McLaughlin of St. Charles, Mo.; three stepgrandchildren; and four great-stepgrandchildren.
Mrs. Duncan was preceded in death by two brothers, Horner and Halford Myers.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Ellington Memorial Presbyterian Church by the Revs. Mark Behrendt and Keith Cardwell. Burial will be in Ellington Home Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of services Thursday in the church. Memorials may be made to Ellington Memorial Presbyterian Church or Blessing Foundation.
