Tony Lang, 73, 1985 Feedlot Road, died Saturday, Sept. 14, 1996, at Halstead Hospital, Halstead. He was born Oct. 11, 1922,on a farm near Victoria to A.J. and Katie (Wiesner) Lang.

He married Dorothy F. Walters Oct. 18, 1949, in Catherine.

He was a farmer and a World War II Army veteran. He was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council 11687, both of Catherine, and the VFW, Hays.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, Tom and Randy, both of Hays; two daughters, Sharon Haas and Karen Jacobs, both of Hays; three brothers, Clarence, George and Ralph, all of Hays; two sisters, Oliva Pfannenstiel, Munjor, and Leona Walters, Hays; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, lsadore, and two grandchildren.

Services were Tuesday at St. Catherine Church, Catherine, with Father Earl Befort and Father Julian Haas officiating; burial with military honors by the...
