Mrs. Cora Murrell, a native of Tulare county and member of a well-known pioneer family, passed away this morning at Springville, after a long illness. Mrs. Murrell was born at Woodville, 63 years ago, daughter of the late Mr and Mrs George W. Hunsaker, pioneer settlers in Tulare county. Her death followed by two months that of her husband Charles A Murrell, who died at the family home at Strathmore August 12.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 17 at 10:00 am at the Loyd-Frietzche chapel, with Tev. W.C. Collier officiating, and interment will be in the family plot at the Tulare cemetery.
Surviving Mrs. Murrell are one son, Ralph Murrell of Strathmore and four grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Ida Rogers of Alameda, Calif., and a brother, Lee Hunsaker, of San Luis Obispo.
A resident of Tulare county practically her entire life. Mrs. Murrell had a wide circle of friends, particularly among the older residents of the southern part of the county.
