76, died at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Born the son of the late Francis Edgar and Margaret Mary Graves Abell.

A lifelong resident of St. Mary's County, who spent many years working for Rooster Guy, Emmitt Russell and Leroy Buckler as one of the best painter's in St. Mary's County.

He harvested beautiful gardens every year and was an excellent cook. An avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles baseball team, and also enjoyed watching the Washington Redskins and NASCAR races.

Survived by sisters, Emily Ann Owens (Joe), Mary Rita Dean and Frances Marie Lorence (Melvin); his long term companion, Faye Harrison; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, was preceded in death by a brother, the late Joseph Frances Abell and sister, the late Margaret Mary Mulvey.

Family will receive friends on Monday, August 4th, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A., 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Eamon Dignan on Monday, August 4th, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady's Catholic Church, 41348 Medley's Neck Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be his nephews.
