MILLBURY Jean Ann (Malo) Saucier Benoit, 74, of 28A West Main St., died Tuesday, Oct. 9th in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, after a life long battle with Diabetes.

She leaves her husband, Robert F. Benoit; a daughter, Susan M. Saucier of Millbury; a son, Stephen P. Saucier of Douglas; a grandson, Corey O. Saucier of Douglas; a step-son, Wayne R. Benoit and his wife, Patricia of Spencer; two step-grandchildren, Christopher and Elizabeth Benoit of Spencer; two sisters, Judith M. wife of George Buron and Mary Lou wife of Stuart Mulhane, all of Millbury; two nephews and five nieces; four great-nephews and five great nieces. She was born in Worcester, daughter of George A. and Eva M. (Ballard) Malo.

Jean Ann was director of student accounts at the Diocese of Worcester Catholic Schools Office for 27 years, retiring last year. She formerly worked at Felters Co., Buck Brothers Co. and Norton Co. She graduated from Millbury High School. Jean will be most remembered for her strength and courage in dealing with her diabetes since the age of seventeen.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, Oct. 13th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid’s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12th in the funeral home.
