Mrs. Patsy Nell Gardner Adams, 63, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Carolina's Hospital System in Florence.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Burroughs-Cooper-Kiser Funeral Home officiated by the Rev. Perry Deal. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 26, 2015 at Burroughs-Cooper-Kiser Funeral Home.

Born July 22, 1951 in Union County, she was daughter of the late Floyd Gardner and the late Emeline Gray Gardner Hood. Mrs. Adams was a homemaker and a substitute teacher with the Marlboro County School system. She was a member of the Blenheim Church of God, and enjoyed going to the Mountains, and cooking. She also enjoyed flea markets and yard sales.

She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Gardner; her mother, Emeline Gray Gardner Hood; her step-father, Earl Hood; and a daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" Carol Adams.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Edward Adams, Sr. of Bennettsville; sons, Ronald Edward Adams, Jr. (Lisa) of Bennettsville, and Tommy Christopher Adams of Bennettsville; a daughter, Janice Young (Sammy) of Virginia; sisters, Hazel Piacente of Blenheim, Linda Wilson of Bennettsville, and Virginia Holland (Gerald) of Louisburg, NC.; a step-brother, Dan Hood of Charlotte, NC; nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
