Mr. Wiseman died at 2 a.m. Thursday at Methodist North Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Mr. Wiseman was a retired boat operator for the Memphis District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He was a member of East Hickman Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Sue Morris Wiseman; one son, Roy Ray Wiseman Jr. of Hickman; two daughters, Denise Ligons of Union City, Tenn., and Jeanie Mathis of Farmington, Mo.; one sister, Edith Trantham of Hickman; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Glenn Wiseman, and one brother. His parents were Roy and Vera Ray Wiseman.
