OBITUARY: Shirley A. Miller, Nov. 23, 1955 – Apr. 16, 2013
Shirley A. Miller, 57, of Mooresville, NC, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center, in Charlotte, NC.
She was born in St. Francis, KS on November 23, 1955 to Ora Lee Busby and the late Mervin Carl Busby.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother and great friend who enjoyed spending time on the golf course or traveling with her family. She worked as a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines and was loved by everyone she came into contact with.
She is survived by her husband, sons, granddaughter, and sister.
In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Diana Morris, of Colorado.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Troutman Funeral Home.
A memorial service will begin at 3:30 p.m. in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel followed by a “Celebration of Life” gathering at the Miller home.
