Funeral services for Mr. James W. Adams, 73, were held on June 4. Masonic graveside rites followed in Baldwin Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Adams died on June 3 after an extended illness. He was a native of Laurens County but had resided in Milledgeville for a number of years. He was a member of the Montpelier Methodist Church and was retired employee of J.P. Stevens Company in the worsted department.

Survivors include; one son, James H. Adams; one brother Paul Adams; three sisters, Mrs. Fannie Lee Watson, Mrs. Lucille Huff and Alethea Adams, all of Milledgeville; and three grandchildren.
