Mrs. Mons Peterson of Wallace passed away Friday, Jan. 6 at the Peabody Memorial Hospital at the age of 92 years, 7 months and 5 days.

Funeral services were held on Monday at the Calvary Lutheran Church at Wallace with Rev. O. V. Everson officiating. Burial was made in the Webster Cemetery. Pall bearers were grandsons, Clinton, Voyle, Marvid, Almond and Carroll Peterson and Donald Ess. Music was furnished by Rev. Everson and Mr. and Mrs. Voyle Peterson.

Attending the funeral from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Art Anderson of Brandt, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Murphy and Mrs. Art Peterson of St. Paul, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Peterson and Elaine and Mrs. Carl Stempson of Dawson, Mrs. J. F. Ess and son Daonald of Madison, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Stand of Langford, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Peterson of Sioux Falls, Pete Peterson of Watertown, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Montieth of Brookings besides others from Webster, Lily and Wallace.

Elene Dahle was born to Mr. and Mrs. Karrie Dahle at Adams, Minn. on May 31, 1863. In the year 1885 she was united in marriage to Mons Peterson at Adams. To this union eight children were born. On April 7, 1955 they celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.

Survivors include her husband; four sons, Melvin, Eddie and Henry Peterson all of Webster and Clarence Peterson of Dawson; two daughters, Inga Fetterly of Wallace and Mrs. Joe F. Ess of Madison, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son; three brothers and four sisters.
