Helen Lorene Withrow, 86 year old, Checotah resident, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 in Warner, Oklahoma. She was born to Walter and Elsie (DeLozier) Anderson on Wednesday, February 22, 1928 in Canadian, Oklahoma. She was raised in Canadian where she attended school. Helen met W. H. Bill Withrow and they were united in marriage in January of 1950 in Yuma, Arizona. They moved back to Checotah where she became a wife, homemaker and mother. She loved to cooking, gardening and canning and always kept a clean house. Helen enjoyed feeding cattle with her daughter and son-in-law and spending Friday nights and Sunday mornings with her church friends. She loved being a grandmother enjoying time with her great grandson, Jake. Helen was very loving, caring, giving and always doing for others. She attended the Church of Christ. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, W. H. “Bill” Withrow; son, Billy “Cowboy” Withrow; grandson, Rowdy Joe Withrow and infant daughter, Mary Jane Withrow.
She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Debbie Mullen and her husband Jon of Checotah and their children, Alisa Cox and her husband Dusty of Salina and their son Jake, Jonny Mullen and his wife Branny of Mounds; daughter-in-law, Dixie Withrow, and her children, Nicole and Colleen Withrow all of Checotah; daughter, Paulette Smith and her husband D.C and their daughter, Candy Smith all of Muskogee.
