Ervin J. "Windy" Sutschek, Age 89, of Hot Springs Village, AR, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at a local hospital. Born on May 25, 1921 in Milwaukee, WI to John and Catherine Markowetz Sutschek. Windy graduated from Messmer High School in 1939 and went on to serve his country in WWII as a member of the 451st Bombardment Squadron in Europe for which he was awarded the Purple Heart. While serving, Windy married his wife of 67 years. After the war, he began his career as a member of the Milwaukee Fire Department and retired after many years of service. While a resident of Milwaukee, Windy was a member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Church Men's Club. Windy will be cherished in the memory of his family and friends for his kind heart, his great cooking, and his love of golf. He is survived by his wife; their five children; thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both parents, his siblings; Rudy, Carl, Marie, Katherine Kohl, Eleanor Bogner, Reverend Frances, and John. Rosary was Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Hot Springs Village, AR. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, August 30, 2010 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.
