James Malcolm Foster, age 77, of Franklin, Ohio, died Tuesday January 27, 2015 at Heartland of Miamisburg.

He was born in Hinton, West Virginia on April 7, 1937 to James Russell and Mary (Saunders) Foster.

James served in the U.S. Army for 2 years and was stationed in Germany. He was employed with Chyrsler for 30 years and retired in 1997.

He was preceded in death by his father, James R. Foster, wife, Katherine Foster, one grandchild, Kris; a step daughter Debra Smith.

James is survived by his three sons, James Malcolm (Catrina) Foster Jr., Jeffrey (Jim) Foster, Joel Keith (Barbara) Foster; daughter, Mary J. (Timothy) Stalder; step son, Eugene (Pat) Hazlett; mother Mary I. Brown; three brothers, Thomas Foster, Jack Foster, Dalford Foster; 6 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services are 1:00 pm Saturday January 31, 2015 at Anderson Funeral Homes 40 North Main Street (ST RT 741) Springboro, Ohio with Celebrant Dan Flory officiating.

Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Cancer Society or the ASPCA.
