Mr. Beamer died Monday in Fort Walton Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Oris L. Beamer of Fort Walton Beach; three stepsons, Charles A. Hess and J. D. Hess, both of Anniston, James Benton of Shalimar, Fla.; five stepdaughters, Mrs. Doris J. Prickett and Mrs. Mary A. Haynie, both of Jacksonville, Mrs. Ada Frances Nolan of Smyrna, Ga., Mrs. Peggy Nadashkevich of Washington and Mrs. Elizabeth Cashdollar of Columbus, Ohio; and a brother, Guy William Beamer of Aspers, Pa.
Mr. Beamer was a retired lieutenant colonel from the Air Force with more than 30 years of military service. He was awarded the Bronze Star during World War II. An Oak Leaf Cluster was later added for the Korean conflict. He was the executive manager of the Playground Chamber of Commerce in Fort Walton Beach from 1961-63 and was a member of several military and fraternal organizations.
