July 15, 1924 - January 28, 2015

Berney Eugene Hall (Pap) passed away January 28, 2015 at the age of 90. He was a member, deacon and trustee of Bethany Baptist Church, a veteran of World War II and retired from Standard Knitting Mills. We will all remember Pap as a hard working man who was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pugh and Ninabelle Hall; siblings, Cindy, J.R., Harold and Bill Hall; son-in-law, John Waring, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ann Hall; siblings, Juanita Gardner, Alaska Hansard, Vera Lee Henderson, Pugh and Edward Hall; children, Charlotte Waring, Kenney and wife Sherry and Donnie and wife Marilyn Hall. Grandchildren; Drew and wife Paige, and Tanner and wife Lauren. Great Grandchildren; Preston, Caleb, and Scarlette Hall. Pallbearers; Kenney, Donnie, Drew and Tanner Hall, Don McFarland and Darrell Mitchell. Honorary pallbearers; Edward Hall, Jack Hansard and Wendell Lett.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Tennessee Cancer Center and Tennova Residential Hospice for their services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethany Baptist Church. Family and friends will meet 10:15 am Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel and proceed to Bethany Cemetery for an interment service at 11:00 am. Family will receive friends 6:00- 8:00 pm Friday with funeral service to follow, Rev. Jack Walker, Rev. Donnie McGinnis and Rev. Herman Faddis will be officiating.
