World War II Vet
John Molitoris, Jr. age 90 of Maumee, Ohio passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Heartland of Perrysburg. He was born in Czechoslovakia on March 3, 1924, the son of John Sr. and Anna (Sabo) Molitoris.
John, proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII.
He loved to fish and hunt; as well as tend to his garden. He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Marilyn June (Denman) of 66 years, and his son Timothy.
Surviving are his daughter Mari Ellen (Charles) Mierzwiak, of Point Place, Ohio, and sons, John Andrew (Lauria), Molitoris of Cottonwood, Calif.; George Richard (Inna) of Michigan and his 11 Grandchildren and his 6 Great-Grandchildren, also are his loving sister Ruth (Al) Edel,; and Mary (Charlie) Good, brothers George (Lillian) Molitoris, Richard all from Penn., and his many nieces and nephews.
We like to thank the children that came to visit John in Heartland where he told them about being a Sargent in the United States, Army.
He died, about two months before his 91..
We also would like to thank all of the nurses and the aids who took special care of him and he really enjoyed their company, at Heartland in Perrysburg.
He will be cremated and his ashes will be spread in Hawii along with his loving wife.
Services will be private. Mom and Dad were married on November 7, 1947
