Mrs. Ida M. Cox 94, of Jonesville, died Monday in a kingsport, Tenn., hospital after a brief illness.
Mrs. Cox was the oldest member of the First United Methodist Church of Jonesville.
Surviving are two sons, Fred Cox, Jonesville and Roy Cox, Abingdon; three daughters, Mrs. Winnie Elliott, Washington D. C., Mrs. Ethel Orr, Berryville, Va., and Mrs. Mable White, Scottsboro, Ala; 12 granchildren and nine great=grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gene Kirk officiating. Burial was in Lee Memorial Park with Davidson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
