Jimmie Ray Moore, 76, was a son of the late Jesse and Bessie Moore. He was preceded in death by his brother, Clyde.
Jimmie owned and operated Jim's Automatic Transmission Service in McAdenville for 20 years and worked for Freightliner in Mt. Holly for five years before retiring. He proudly served in the US Army for twelve years doing tours in Korea, Japan, Germany and on the US Army Pistol Team.
Interment in Old Field Cemetery – 97 Steeple Rd., Sylva, NC.
The arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
