Killed by Automobile
Gerald Ellis of Black Walnut Met Death Last Night.
Gerald Ellis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ellis of Black Walnut, was struck by an automobile driven by "Bucky" Miner of Tunkhannock, a little after 10 o'clock last night and was killed as a result of the collision.
The Ellis boy, who is a student in school, had been to Meshoppen with another boy to attend a Boy Scout meeting and they were returning home riding bicycles when he collided with the automobile.
Mr. Miner stopped and picked up the injured boy and brought him to the office of Dr. Taylor at Meshoppen, but the unfortunate young man was beyond help, evidently having been instantly killed.
