Scott is survived by his wife, Stacy A. MacQuivey; son, Joseph G. MacQuivey at home; father, Joseph A. MacQuivey of South Bend, IN; stepdaughter, Mandy Reaker of Ligonier, IN; stepson, Frank Reaker of Ligonier, IN; four grandchildren, Grace, Emma, Ethan "Bubby" and Bella and sister, Karen S. MacQuivey of Seattle, WA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean L. MacQuivey on January 4, 2009.
Scott was a lifelong resident. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy for seventeen and half years. He worked as a mail handler for the United States Postal Service for sixteen years.
A Memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services.
