Married Mary Elizabeth Riddle 28 Jan 1845 in Monroe Co, MS. They had three sons, Franklin Lloyd, Robert Green, and William B. The two oldest were born in Monroe Co, MS and the youngest, William, was born 5 March 1852 in TN. Mary Elizabeth likely died in Collierville in 1852 soon after the birth of William.

Next, married Mary Ann Robinson 11 Dec 1854 in Collierville, TN. They had nine known children. During the Civil War, he sold his farms in Collierville and moved to then Southern Desoto Co, MS (now Tate Co)

In 1866 Henry Banks and sons, Robert G. and William purchased 400 acres near Senatobia, MS adjacent to current NWCC. (Son, Franklin Lloyd had died in Nov 1862 while serving in the Civil War) The local Court ordered this farm sold in Feb 1869. Henry appealed to the MS Supreme Court and eventually moved from this farm in Jan 1871.

"Meacham, Mitcham, Mitchum Families of the South" states that H. B. and Mary died a few days apart in Aug 1874 in Indian Bay, AR. This information is believed to have been supplied by their daughter, Bell Meacham Waldrop, around 1912 in correspondence to Laura Meacham Strowbridge, who collected much of this Meacham history that was eventually incorporated into this book.

On 2 Nov 1874, their half brother, Robert G. Meacham filed a petition with the Desoto Co, MS Court to be appointed Guardian of his now orphaned siblings living in Indian Bay, AR.

In April 1878 Robert G. was finally appointed Guardian. He reported to the Court that the children "were in quite a destitute and helpless condition without a home".
Evidently, the MS Supreme Court had ruled in favor of H. B. Meacham's appeal over the sale of his farm. With these funds, Robert Green purchased a small farm with house, well, and farm equipment about 6 miles NE of Senatobia for the Meacham children.

The "Tate County Record", 5 Sept 1884 edition:
"Miss Jessie ROBINSON of INDIAN BAY, ARKANSAS is visiting Mrs. R. G. Meacham and Mrs. Hiram Hall."

R. G. Meacham was the son of Henry Banks by his first wife and Mrs. Hall was the oldest daughter of Henry Banks by his second wife. Jessie Robinson was the daughter of Francis M and Amanda E. Robinson. They had moved from Collierville to Indian Bay, AR about 1859. It is now obvious that Henry Banks and Mary Meacham were drawn to Indian Bay by the presence of her brother, F. M. Robinson, who had become a prosperous planter and lived in Indian Bay.

The specific cemetery in Monroe Co where H. B. and Mary were buried is unproven. With F. M. Robinson listed there on the 1870 Census and having a daugheter, Lila Robinson Burge buried there in 1899, it is highly probable that F. M. Robinson would have buried his sister and brother-in-law in this cemetery.
