Died 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 27, 1990, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 65, a native of New Orleans and resident of Baton Rouge. He was a retired Bell & Howell Phillips Burg Division southern regional manager, with more than 40 years service, and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 4 to 10 p.m. Tuesday and after 8 a.m. Wednesday. Religious services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev.Trey Nelson. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by wife, June Duke Dodd; two daughters, Erin Dodd Lemoine and Mrs. Keith (Alyssa) Dodd Crochet, both of Baton Rouge; a son and daughter-in-law, Leonard C. Jr. and Jo Ann Dodd, Port Allen; and three grandchildren, Bryan and Leslie Dodd and Nicholas Vavasseur. Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Helene Calongne Dodd. Pallbearers will be Wiley Duke, Bobby Duke, Todd Skiba, Bob Pritchard, Ron Metternick and Brad Monroe. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.
