Lloyd Edward Arnett was the son of Earl Everett and Hope Hensley Arnett and the husband of Zella O Roles Arnett.

Lloyd would had been my distant 5th cousin.


Lloyd Arnett, 93, died Wednesday, Oct. 19. He was born in Harrah, Okla. to Earl and Hope Arnett. Mr. Arnett was a farmer most all his life and lived in Oakdale since 1940.

He loved hunting and fishing and was an avid Bible reader. He served his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and attended church faithfully.

He is survived by his sons, Bob (Janice) Arnett of Oakdale, Tom Arnett of Grants Pass, Ore.; sisters, Verna Harmon of Waldron, Ark., Emma Thomas of Grants Pass, Ore.; brother, Glen Arnett of Grants Pass, Ore.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Zella; daughter-in-law, Judy Arnett; grandchildren, John and Julie Arnett; four sisters; and three brothers.

A memorial service was held Oct. 25 at Sierra Foothills Community Church, followed by a reception and lunch.
