Arthur Carmichael, 80, of Bloomfield passed away at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday May 6, 2006 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton. Born December 18, 1925 in Greene County Indiana he was the son of Frank & Floe (Price) Carmichael.
He worked at Indiana University as a Janitor, he was retired. He was also a farmer. He attended the Bloomfield Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife of 55 years Betty (Roberts) Carmichael. 4 sons Jerry & his wife Joan Carmichael of Stanford, In. Donald & wife Connie Carmichael of Bloomfield, David & wife Cindy Carmichael of Bloomfield, James & wife Jewel Carmichael of Bloomfield. 10 Grandchildren, 5 Step-Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, & 14 Step-Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents & 1 Brother Frank Don Carmichael at birth. Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday May 9, 2006 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Brother Charles Biery officiating, bural will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield.
