She was born in Grand Rapids, MI.
She was a past Honored Queen of Jobs Daughters.
She married Steve Leeds in 1934, and in 1936, they came to Burbank and later in 1943 to Fresno.
Steve died three months later, so she was a widow during war time with two young children.
Later she married Robert Silva. They were married more than 50 years before his passing.
She was a master at making doll houses and miniatures until she lost her sight.
She was preceded in death by her son, Steve Leeds. She is survived by her daughter, Dianne Sherlock; grandsons, Steven Follett and his wife Lois, and Craig Leeds; and four granddaughters.
She is survived by great-granddaughters, Kristin Scharnick, Valerie Layton, Rebecca, Alisha and Taylor Leeds.
She was proud of the fact that she was a great great-grandmother of two, Stephanie and Nicholas Layton.
A Graveside Service will be held at Belmont Memorial Park on Thursday, May 11, 2006, at 11:30 a.m.
Remembrances may be made to the Heart Association or the Alzheimers Association.
