R.L. Lowe, 88 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

He was born on November 10, 1926 in Subiaco, Arkansas to his parents Richard L. and Arizona (Mosley) Lowe.

He was a retired United States Rural Postal Carrier, an avid gardener, hunter, fisherman and of the Assembly of God Faith. Richard was a United States Army Veteran, a lifetime member of the DAV, American Legion and Rural Carriers Union.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard L. and Arizona (Mosley) Lowe; one brother, Luther Lowe and two half brothers, Bennie Lowe and Opal Lowe.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Jacquelin Freda (Derrick) Lowe of Paris; one daughter Darlette Edwards and husband Mike of Calumet, Oklahoma; four sons, Rick Lowe and wife Debbie of Paris, Farrell Lowe of Paris, Brent Lowe and wife Debbie of Paris and Monte Lowe and wife Karen of Paris; eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Kenny Maness. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Ross Edwards, Coy Edwards, Autry Edwards, Luke Edwards, Dylan Lowe and Andrew Cozens.

Honorary pallbearers will be the coffee drinkers at Dare Delite.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, 23 West Main Street, Paris, AR 72855.
