RAVENNA — Morris Epp, 77, of Kearney died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015, at Good Samaritan Center in Ravenna.

Memorial services will be later. Rasmussen Funeral Home in Ravenna is in charge of arrangement

Morris Edward Epp was born May 1, 1937, in Henderson to Edward H. and Alma (Doell) Epp. He attended school in Henderson.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1966, and he spent time stationed in Germany.

He married Bonnie Neufeld in 1966. Together they had three children, Jon, Myra and Sarah.

Morris enjoyed working various trades, which took him from Henderson, Sidney and Pleasanton and eventually to Heathrow, Fla. Wherever Morris went, he was fast to make friends. He loved to talk and meet new people. He looked forward to his outings with his siblings. Card games were always played and conversation was aplenty.

Morris was known to break out in song and had a quick-witted sense of humor. Morris was not without his words of wisdom. The one he stated often was "Smile and the world smiles with you, cry and you cry alone."

Morris was a big kid at heart. He enjoyed playing with Play-Doh with his grandkids as well as having them chase his speedy remote control car.

Survivors include his children, Jonathan Epp, Myra King and Sarah Steele; grandchildren, Robby McCraken, Sarah Brittany Epp, Katie Myers, Rebecca, Laura, Samuel and Joseph King and Bonnie, Connes, Tobias and Vincent Steele; and his siblings, Paul Epp, Ed C. Epp and Rachel Goosen.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bonnie; and sister, Barbara Williams.
