Surviving are a son, Richard L Markes, Syracuse; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A daughter, Stella Mandish, two brothers and two sisters died before her.
Born in Chelsea, Vt., on June 4, 1912, a daughter of Charles Paul and Myrtle Alexander, she married Lawrence Markes on Oct. 9, 1931. He died Oct. 4, 1953. She married Wesley E Patraw on June 30, 1966. He died July 25, 1975.
Mrs. Patraw was a bus driver for Massena Central School and later with Hutchins Flower Shop.
She was a member of the OES 516, St. Lawrence Rebekah Lodge 348, Senior Citizens Group of Massena and Parishville and the First United Methodist Church.
