Constance A. Cota was born in New York City. She moved to Wichita, Kanas in 1964 from Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Wichita Arts Association and St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church. She died at age 67 on Saturday, March 15, 1969. Survivors included her husband, Major General Norman D Cota, retired of 24 Cypress Drive; one son, Norman D. Cota Jr. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; one daughter, Mrs. Ann [Thomas J.] Morris [Jr.] of Wichita and one sister, Mrs. Barbara Meyers of New York City. Services were held at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church with the Rev. James Warner and the Rev. Lester Wiley officiating. At her request the service was closed casket. Cremation arrangements were by Cochran Mortuary. Memorial contributions in her name were suggested to St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.
