Ivan Eric Reid, 62, of Warren, passed away, Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 6, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 3 p.m. at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville with burial in Fellowship Cemetery in Warren. Officiating will be Scott Mitchell. Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel John Diaz, David Stephen Kitchens, Bobby Louis Martin, Benjamin Keil Butler McKee, Michael Sean Parrish, and Michael Lynn Priest.

Ivan was born January 26, 1953 to Ivan Alton & Hidvie Valera Hazard Reid in Salem, Oregon. He was a dispatcher for Acadian Ambulance Service. He had served our country for 14 years in the U.S. Navy and had been a part of Enewetak Atoll clean up group. He was also a member of NRA. He had served as a police officer, firefighter, and paramedic. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and Ingress Resistance Agent @warfighter53.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan & Hidvie Reid; brother, Mike Reid; and sister, Jan Reid.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Kristi Reid of Warren; sons, Shannon Eric Reid & wife Jamie Ginn and Justin Michael Reid & wife, Chendara Reid all of Vancouver, WA; brother, Mel Reid & wife, Joy of Indian Springs, NV; grandchildren, Navarree Dyllon Reid-Dickson, Nova Kelly Hays, Davin Lee Reid, and Mali Elora Reid.

Memorials may be made to Veterans local groups or Wounded Warriors.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Woodville.
