Kathleen McCormack age 23 of Riverside, AL passed away on December 8, 2013.
She is survived by her parents, Randall and Ann McCormack, brother, Brad McCormack (Tiffany), grandmother, Betty Sessamen, nieces and nephews, Caysen, Ella, and Penelope, uncles, Harry Sessamen (Leah), Richard Sessamen (Debbie) and Barton McCormack, cousins, Ronnie Sessamen (Angela), Cacie Zuk (Michael), David Sessamen and Cameron McCormack.
Kathleen was employeed with Honda and received her Associates Degree from Jeff State in Medical Office Support. "War Eagle"

Woman killed in Hoover crash identified

HOOVER, Alabama - Authorities on Monday released the identity of a woman killed early Sunday in Hoover.

The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the woman as Kathleen Mouat McCormack, 23. McCormack was from Riverside in St. Clair County.

The crash happened around 5 a.m. on I-65 South just past Alford Avenue. Police said a Ford Escape left the right side of the road, hit an embankment and overturned.

McCormack, a passenger in the SUV, was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:14 a.m. The driver and another passenger, both males, were taken to UAB Hospital for treatment of injuries that were not life-threatening, police said. Their names and conditions haven't been released.

The crash remains under investigation.
