Charles Chancellor, a Clinton line freight conductor, was run over and killed at Ash Grove yesterday evening. He was making up a train in the yards to go to the scene of a small freight wreck, when an engine on the main line of the Frisco struck him.

The remains will be shipped this morning to his home at Clinton, where his family lives, for burial. The deceased had been in the service of the Frisco system many years...His run was from Ash Grove to Clinton.
