Reva June Shipley, age 79, of Eaton, Ohio, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2003, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
She was born Oct. 29, 1924, in Eldorado, Ohio, to the late Frank and Hazel (Petry) Holsinger. She retired from Motorola Corp., Phoenix, Ariz., and had worked at Belden, Richmond, Ind. She had been a member of the Moose Lodge and Eagles Lodge in Richmond, Ind., and Phoenix, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Jim Wilson, Ellis Duncan and George Shipley; daughter, Jackie Lee Duncan; son, Ace Daniel Wilson; grandson, Michael Wilson; brother, Lowell Holsinger.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Keith Guyton, Tipp City, Ohio, Sherry and Sam King, Astatula, Fla.; daughter, Judy Burke, Richmond, Ind.; son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Jan Gephart, San Jose, Calif.; stepdaughter, Betty Emerick, Richmond, Ind.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Knose, Eaton, Ohio; brother, Harold Holsinger, Urbana, Ohio; nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003, at Girton-Schmidt-Boucher Funeral Home, 226 W. Main St., Eaton, Ohio, with Rev. Raymond E. Rothwell officiating. Burial will be at Monroe Township Cemetery, Eldorado, Ohio.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to charity of one's choice.
