Charles Treffel Dumas, 73, a Hibbing resident for the past 32 years, died Monday at his home. He was born June 28, 1911, in Walhalla, N.D.
He was employed by the Hanna Mining Company and was owner-operator of Dumas Pool Hall. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 1022 and Blessed Sacrament Church.
He is survived by his wife, Alice; one daughter, Judy (Richard) Little of Gilbert; two brothers, Leonard of Walhalla and Joeseph of Hillsboro, N.D.; one sister, Pamela Schwartz in Walhalla; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held in the Dougherty Funeral Home at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. John O'Donnell officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.

Funeral services for Charles Treffel Dumas, 73, of Hibbing, who died Monday, will be held Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. in the Dougherty Funeral Home. Rev. John O'Donnell will officiate.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Dougherty Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Gary Koski, George Uremovich, Donald Toivola, Earl Lehman, Douglas Packa and Dirk Scibicki will be the casket bearers.
